Moi with the adventurous outfit – Cap, Sunnies & Long-sleeved Jacket (prevent sun tanning on freaking 9 morning), White T-shirt(white doesn’t absorb heat, much cooler compare to dark colours). But i guess my long-sleeved jacket does. Ftw

An extraordinary Tuesday, my lecturer decided to have an outing drawing somewhere behind Dewan Sri Penang. Normally we used to have our drawing lesson in the class, nothing special. This outing really brighten up my day despite for the super hot weather in the bloody morning, another great experience though.

PIKOM PC FAIR 2010 @ Pisa, Penang

P1020628

PIKOM PC Fair is a yearly event. Many people will find many great deals in PC Fair for a better prices and quality items compare to local IT shop which normally do not have much choices and discounts. PICOM PC Fair is scheduled according to locations and venues in different states.

Jane and I visited the Pc fair on the first day when it started. Not much people as we expected but the crowd is still there. Many stalls and booths were set up inside and around the stadium.

Apart from that, I've visited another Pc fair at KLCC Convention Centre as well. (Because i couldn’t find what i want in Penang’s Pc fair, T____T, so yah, i went down all the way to KL to get what i want.) At the meantime, enjoy my short post while I’m waiting for Josh to send me those pictures that we took the other day so that i can continue to blog and compare the difference between the two PC fairs. Stay tuned.

My worst nightmare

A nightmare which everyone will never forget about a terrifying dream where you experiences feelings of helplessness and extreme anxiety when you were deeply sleeping. They do not last long, perhaps for an hour or so, but they cause havoc during that short period though you were sleeping.

Here is my Nightmare.

It happened on a very fine night after some hectic activity. My body was totally exhausted, but my mind were not. In order to get myself sleep so that i won't feel tired on the next day, i forced myself even my mind are still deeply awake.

Bad dreams always occurred on the right time.

It was about one evening, i was sitting just relaxing and doing nothing in particular. Then i heard a distant rumble of thunder. I looked towards the sky ad still could not see any hint of rain. Suddenly I heard a very loud roar above the rumbling of thunder and the howling of wind. The roar become louder and louder. It sounded like gigantic train approaching though it certainly was not one. Out of curiosity, I sat up and walked further more to look for what was happening. The next thing i saw a white curtain of approaching rain followed up with the water rushing over and flooded the area around me. The water filled up the whole space in few minutes time. I couldn't barely move nor swim. The flow was too strong, kept pushing me away from no where. I tried to scream but no one can actually hear me where flashes of lighting lit up the the darkened sky followed up cracks of thunder as though in reply. I was drowned to death in just few minutes time.As suddenly as it came with a bright lightning splashed on me. It was the shine of the sun. I quickly opened my eyes. The first thing came out my mind was, 'Thanks god, i am still alive and not dead drown in the nightmare.'

Mouth-less, Helpless in the dream.

Seriously, experiencing nightmare ain't a nice thing!! Ever since that, i bought a dream catcher and hang it on top of my bed. No more bad dreams, left the good one. Wheeee.

Birthday Dinner @ Suffolk House

A pleasant dinner celebration with loves one at Suffolk House. Receiving all the birthday wishes since the day before, much appreciate. Birthday celebration was fine, no big birthday party, no birthday surprise. Things just turned out be a simple one, but indeed a memorable one.

So much love from them, My darlings. Not to forget my brother, he is the only family member who were there to celebrate with me on this 2010, my parents couldn’t make it, they have a dinner to attend, so do my sisters, they are not around..

Venue : Suffolk House Restaurant

Time : 8pm

Date : 2nd of April, 2010

Theme : Vintage

Suffolk House was where the founder of Penang lived. After extensive renovations/restorations, this historic building is finally open to the public again and the highlight must be the restaurant, aptly named the Suffolk House Restaurant. I think ever since Francis Light vacated his Residence, his mansion was destined to be an eating place because in the 50s and 60s, Suffolk House was the school canteen (or tuck shop if you like) of the adjacent Methodist Boys' School where char kway teow and kway teow thng were sold to hungry schoolboys/girls. Today it is a high class restaurant and the rumour has it that Francis Light likes the ambience of this new eating place. Dine at the Suffolk House Restaurant and on certain nights, Sir Francis Light himself might float up to your table and say, Yam Seng" - Source

This restaurant is managed by the people who also owned the fine dining restaurants - Thirty Two Mansion, Bagan Bar & Restaurant and Beach Blanket Babylon.

#2 Honoured Sign stated.

The place is located at somewhere hidden where nobody will normally pass by. It is even more complicated when you were trying to search at night when you barely see something besides for trees and some sort of old houses. Anyway, the last part of going to that place is slightly secluded. You have to keep driving until you see the sign above.

Chiang Chiang, you’re almost done. Congratulation that you found the right way!.

Suffolk House is also known as the first “Great House of Penang” and is said to have been built by Sir Francis Light, the founder of the British Settlement of Penang. Hence, the interior design still maintained the old structure of the mansion for heritage purposes.
